Maldives telecom operator Dhiraagu has opened applications for the 2027 intake of its Apprenticeship Programme, a paid two-year scheme that lets young Maldivians earn while they learn.

Who can apply

  • Maldivian nationals

  • Aged 18 to 30

  • A minimum of A'level qualifications

  • Not in full-time employment

How the programme works

According to Dhiraagu, apprentices spend two years combining structured training, such as workshops and courses, with on-the-job learning under experienced staff. Each apprentice is paired one-on-one with a mentor from the Dhiraagu team.

Apprentices who complete the two years graduate with an official certificate of completion. Those who leave after one year receive a certificate for that year. Based on performance and the company's needs, outstanding apprentices may be offered jobs at Dhiraagu.

Dhiraagu says the programme builds skills such as communication, planning and organisation, problem-solving and decision-making, customer service, and occupational health and safety.

How to apply

Applications are made online through the Dhiraagu apprenticeship page.
